Established in the aftermath of terrorism’s invasion of Libya in 2016, our organization emerged from the collective resolve of the Libyan people to confront and eliminate these threats. Recognizing the urgent need for a specialized entity to address the challenges posed by terrorism and extremism, our Department was founded to safeguard the nation’s security and stability.
